This website is totally for the people who enjoy listening to my music, which is the only reason I still do it after all of these years. 04-19-2026 Hello, everyone....hope you are having a great weekend. Just wanted to share another personal milestone with you, since I have a hard time comprehending it myself. As of this week; I have officially composed, published, and released 900 songs. As I have said before....this is by no means something that I set out to do....it has just happened over time. My original goal back around 2018 of trying to record the approximately 300 ideas I had sitting around so they wouldn't be lost, just kept growing and growing....and I have decided to just keep rolling with it. What the heck....you only live once on this earth. Most importantly, thanks to all of you for listening to this stuff every week. For me, it is a fun learning experience, and an awesome upcoming full-retirement job to keep my mind active into old age!!!!

I just got to work this morning and saw an announcement via the "World Songwriting Awards" website for winning another actual "WSA Winter 2026 1st Place Award" trophy for "Best Outlaw Song"....and I am beyond speechless/blown away. The song is "Where the Working Man's Soul Bleeds", and it's a song I wrote for my late father, Paul Garrett, who was always pushing me to listen to this style of Country when I was younger....this one is definitely dedicated to him. I also owe it to all of you worldwide who continue to support and listen to my music. 01-01-2026 Happy New Year, everyone. I just got to work this morning (yes, I have to work on the holidays most of the time LOL) and found this notification in my email; so I wanted to share it with all of you. This is the 5th time I've had a song place in the top 10 of the World Songwriting Awards for "Best Rock Song" (the first time was Fall 2024, the second was Winter 2025, the third was Spring 2025, and the fourth Summer 2025). Now get this....I also received a second announcement via their website for winning the actual "WSA Fall 2025 1st Place Award" for "Best Jazz Song"....which I have never done before ever in my life. I owe it to all of you who continue to support and listen to my music. 12-03-2025 The Spotify numbers are in again for this year....and I want to thank all of you so very much once again for another wonderful year. I also want to thank you all for taking the time to listen to our music that we basically put out from our home. As an independent artist, I make music the way I want to and don't really try to follow any kind of trends, although I am (of course) influenced by music I grew up listening to like everybody else. The fact that we managed to get over a million streams again for the fourth year in a row is amazing to me, especially since I shifted completely from instrumental to vocal music in a pretty drastic fashion. I owe all of this to you, the worldwide listeners, who give me the inspiration to keep doing this every week. I also couldn't do this without the tireless promotion my beautiful Wife, Pat, provides each year. Cheers to all of you....many more songs to come in 2026 (back to more variety with mixed musical approaches)!!!!

This is the 4th time I've had a song place in a worldwide songwriting contest (the first time was at the end of 2024, the second was April 2025, the third was July 2025), and I owe it to all of you who continue to support and listen to my music. This song was especially important to me, because I wrote it describing the first day I met my Wife. Thank you all so very much, and cheers!!!!
